The Sinistral Elves, also known as Lefthanded Elves or Left-Handed Elves, were a race of Mer who lived on the continent of Yokuda. It is implied they were entirely destroyed by the Redguards in a war between the two races, and the survivors died with the sinking of Yokuda. They are thought to have created the Orichalc Tower of Yokuda. The Sinistral Elves had, at one point, formed an Empire.

The Sinistral Elves, also known as the Left Handed Elves, were a race of mer that lived on the continent of Yokuda, West of Tamriel, in an uneasy peace with the Yokudans, from the late Dawn Era to the early First Era. The Rim of the Sky ( talk) 19:15, 8 August 2020 (UTC) I think "The left-handed elves had a large empire" is supportable. I don't think we should even allege that it was four times the size of Septim's empire, as We know (roughly) the size of Nirn from the various globes in several games, and we know the size of Tamriel in relation to those globes.

Lore I've spent a few days being slightly obsessed with the Sinistralmer/Left-Handed Elves (LHE) and their origins Many theories exist about who they were (or weren't) and what they believed. To be clear this is not me saying "your head-canon sucks" this is me delving into some of said theories and asking questions.

The Sundering of the Elves - V - The Left-handed Elves: the missing sibling In our previous episode. We took a quick look at the Maormer, about who we didn't quite succeed to determine wether their sundering from the Aldmer happened very early, on Aldmeris, or later on Summerset.

28 WaniGemini • 3 yr. ago This is not the Redguards who refer to Orgnum this way but the Maormer themselves, I don't remember a text about the opinion of the Redguards about this shared god. I think this is why many think the Maormer could be related to the Left-Handed Elves.

The Left-Handed Elves were the mer who left Summerset and went to Yokuda. There, they had conflicted with the Reguard Yokudans for some time, until I believe the Ra Gada had discovered the Pankratosword and consequently blew up the place, destroying Oricalc Tower and killing the mer.

The Snow Elves, Ayleids and Left-handed have all been killed by humans The Left-handed elves don't have any lore at all but the Ayleids and Snow Elves have been portrayed as bad enough so that the community find their genocide justified (also people in general have issues by loving to see dead elves).

Left-Handed Elves It is my understanding that TES gets the term "enantiomorph" from biochemistry, where two things are said to be enantiomorphs if they have chirality, which basically means they are mirror images of one another, and are often described by "handedness".
