The Chrysler Fifth Avenue was produced from 1979 through 1993. The name came from a New York, NY street with many upscale shops and attractions. The name first appeared as an upmarket, sub-model of the R-body Chrysler New Yorker sedan in 1979. It had a 118.5-inch wheelbase and was powered by a V8 engine which sent the power to the rear wheels.
